On September 20, 2013, Cherry mobile in partnership with Qualcomm, finally launched their upgraded version/successor of the monster best selling dual core smartphone, the CM flare.. Flare 2.0 almost has the same specs with that of flare 1.0 only the former comes with quadcore processor, jelly bean powered and a three point touch screen LCD other than that all specs are the same. It would have been better if they made the ram to 1gigabyte but who are we to complain? Flare 2.0 will be available starting tomorrow in SM North Edsa at 1pm with an SRP of only 3999. now thats great! same price when flare 1.0 first came out.. indeed a budget friendly quadcore phone, thats why it's now tagged as "quadcore ng bayan"

Android 4.4 Kitkat

Android is the Os that powers over 1 billion smartphoones and tablets. Since april 2009, android versions have been developed under a codename and released according to alphabetical order. Previous codenames of the OS platform were named after a desert--cupcake, donut, eclair, froyo, gingerbread, honeycomb, icecream sandwich (current version i am using) and jelly bean. Thr release had long been expected to be numbered 5.0 and called key lime pie but google decided to name the next version of android after one of our favorite chocolate treat, kitkat! making it as the first version of android thats under a brand name.

On sept 3 2013, Google announced Jelly Beans successor as android 4.4 Kitkat with a release date to be announced. As part of a deal Nestle is running a contest to win a Nexus 7 or Google play credits through sprcially branded kitkat bars.

Googles upcoming android 4.4 kitkat and Nexus 5 smartphone have been tipped  tobe released on october 14, 2013 along with that info a tipser also supplied some of the rumored changes we'll see in the next iteration of the Os.
